New Travolta twists; Nicole on Zac; Baldwin's new bride

Posted: May 26, 2012

Few gossipers have taken too seriously claims by various masseurs that John Travolta assaulted them with unwanted sexual advances. But the case took a strange turn Thursday, with a report that Travolta’s lawyers offered the first masseur $125,000 to withdraw his federal sexual battery lawsuit.

Citing Anonymous Insiders, the New York Daily News says the accuser, former U.S. Army medic John Truesdale, 40, refused the hush money.

"That is completely false," Travolta’s lawyer, Marty Singer, says in a statement. "Not one penny has been paid nor do we have any intention to pay any money for these ridiculous and false claims."

Meanwhile, Truesdale is going on the offensive: He just hired Celeb Megalawyer to the Stars Gloria Allred.

Nicole Kidman’s folk remedy

Poor Zac Efron — stung by a jellyfish in the new thriller, The Paperboy. Fortunately, costar Nicole Kidman had just the thing to fix that — a judicious application of that classic home remedy... urine!.

"I’ve been in love with her for a long time, since Moulin Rouge," Zac says of working with costar Nicole Kidman, who at 44 is two decades his senior. "It blew me away. I loved every minute." The hard-edged pic, which has Kidman simulate raunchy sex with John Cusack, gives Zac a chance to show off his briefs.

Costar Macy Gray, who is with the duo at Cannes to plug the movie, reveals more juicy tidbits: "Zac was in his underwear half the time. I was distracted." The pic is due this fall.

Americans love celeb sex tapes

One-third of the nation’s adult population has watched celeb sex vids featuring the likes of Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and Kendra Wilkinson, says a survey commissioned by online sex shop AdamEve.com. The shop’s sex expert, Dr. Kat Van Kirk, says that "we all have curiosities about sex — and we all have curiosities about celebrities." Wow.

Nanny: Sharon Stone is abusive

Sharon Stone’s former live-in nanny and housekeeper, Erlinda T. Elemen, has filed a harassment suit claiming the Last Dance star systematically mocked and insulted her because of her Filipino accent and her religion. Elemen says Stone fired her after discovering she had put in for overtime pay, wouldn’t allow her to read her Bible at the Stone home and warned her not to talk around the children, lest they adopt her accent.

Stone’s rep, Paul Bloch, says Elemen is just a disgruntled former employee trying to cash in using "absurd claims that are made up and fabricated." In a typical Tinseltown move, Elemen has retained an attorney, Solomon Gresen, and a publicist, Eric Rose. Gresen says, "We can’t wait to see Ms. Stone in court."

An older, wiser Romeo for Tara?

American Pie star Tara Reid, 36, whose underwhelming talent as an actor makes Megan Fox look like the second coming of Bette Davis, is dating one of the nation’s most sought-after watch and jewelry makers — who happens to be 60 years old. The Huffington Post says Tara and Fawaz Gruosi have been most demonstrative with their affection and cooing "aboard a massive yacht at the Lady Joy Boat Party in Cannes." They held hands and everything.

Tara may not be ready to settle down just yet. She vigorously defends her penchant for partying in a recent interview with Brit mag Loaded. "It wasn’t that big of a deal. It’s not like going out and getting drunk is a crime, lots of people do it," she told the magazine. "It doesn’t make me a bad person because I like to go out and have a drink. I’ve never missed a day’s work."
