Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with dive and animal shows at the Atlantic City Aquarium.

From Saturday to Monday, the daily program begins with a 20-minute Live Diver Feeding Show at 11 a.m. Guests can watch and interact with a scuba diver who will hand-feed sharks and stingrays in a 25,000-gallon tank. The diver will also dive into the tank with dogfish and answer questions after the show.

From noon to 3 p.m., visitors can purchase a bag of food and feed fish including bat, southern, and juvenile cownose rays.

The Exotic Animal Show starts at 2 p.m. with scorpions, bearded dragons, red-eyed crocodile skinks, blue tongue skinks, rose haired tarantulas, White's tree frogs, and other animals. The handler will talk about the creatures' habitats, predatory instincts, and other little-known facts.

Barbecue and fireworks at Sesame Place

Enjoy fireworks and a feast with Big Bird and his friends Sunday at Sesame Place.

From 5 to 6 p.m. or 7:30 to 8:30, inside Big Bird's Riverside Pavilion, families can dig in to barbecue with Sesame Street characters. At 9 p.m., a 15-minute fireworks show will go off, set to Sesame Street music. Kids can also play on the new Elmo Cloud Chaser ride and the Count's Splash Castle, see the Neighborhood Street Party, and enjoy other rides and activities.


Memorial Day Barbecue and Fireworks, 5 to 6 p.m. or 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Rd., Langhorne. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday. Barbecue and fireworks are Sunday only. Barbecue is $25, $17 ages 2 to 11. Infants under 2 are free but require a reservation. Park admission ticket is required for meal and fireworks. Admission: $57.99, $52.99 for ages 55 and older, free 23 months and younger. Conservation Quest at Delaware Museum of Natural History

Explore energy as the Delaware Museum of Natural History presents Conservation Quest through Monday.

Learn about energy and where it comes from, and analyze your own consumption using the exhibit's 20 activities. You can learn about hydropower, solar energy, electricity, recycling, and other subjects related to the environment. Discover the distance food travels before it is delivered, take a computer interactive green challenge that prompts kids to make green choices, and see the latest energy inventions.


Conservation Quest, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Delaware Museum of Natural History, 4840 Kennett Pike (Route 52), Wilmington.
