Aon's Hatboro unit completes purchase

Aon Affinity Insurance Services Inc., a Hatboro unit of Aon P.L.C., a global insurance broker and risk management firm, said it completed its $70 million purchase of Access Plans Inc., a Norman, Okla., marketing company that sells insurance and other products and services to membership groups. The deal is expected to add $18 million in annual revenue to Aon, which had $3 billion in revenue last year. With the addition of Access Plans staff, Aon Affinity now employs 1,270 in the United States, including 450 in Hatboro.
