Sheryl Crow has benign brain tumor, Debra Messing splits from hub, Julianne Hough likes working with Cruise

A shocker from Sheryl Crow: The singer-songwriter says she has a brain tumor. Luckily, it’s benign, Crow tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Crow, 50, says she’s been worried about recurrent memory loss for some time. (Just last month, she forgot the lyrics to "Soak Up the Sun" at a Florida show.)

An MRI in November revealed that Crow has meningioma, which develops from the lining that protects the brain and spinal cord. She stayed mum. "I haven’t really talked about it," she said in an understatement. Crow, who battled breast cancer in ’06, says she’s currently at work adapting Barry Levinson’s ’82 film classic Diner into a stage musical.

Hough tells Glamour about shooting her first scene with Tom, which had her do a lap dance while the Mission: Impossible superstar grabbed her in a lewd and lascivious manner.

Hough also tells the mag she first met her beau, Ryan Seacrest, 37, when he interviewed the Dancing With the Stars beauty and her then-bf, country singer Chuck Wicks. "The interview’s on YouTube, and I blush when I hear it because Ryan is hitting on me the entire time!" says Hough. "At the end, Ryan said something like, ‘You guys really have something special!’ And I thought?…?‘He’s so full of?…?right now’!"
