State Group 1. Alison Martino allowed only a Rachel Clifton single while pitching two-time defending state champion New Egypt to a 1-0 one-hit victory over Gloucester in a state semifinal at Rancocas Valley.
The Warriors (27-2) scored in the first inning when Samantha Beckett drove in Erika Tucker. Beckett, Tucker, and Jamie Soles collected two hits apiece off Lions (16-8) pitcher Kate Boulden.
State Group 2. Haddon Heights' hopes for its first state title in 11 years ended with a 1-0 semifinal loss to Robbinsville (21-3) at Wall.
Junior pitcher Shayla Sweeney (25-6) allowed six hits and had one of the two hits allowed by winning pitcher Lauren Fischer. Christine Levering scored the run in the third inning, knocked in by Rebecca Freeman.
State Group 3. Kingsway (27-3), which has allowed four runs in five tournament games, knocked off Lawrence (14-9) by a 5-1 score at Lenape and advanced to the state final.
Kelsey Dominik pitched a two-hitter with six strikeouts, and sophomore Kara Grogan went 2 for 3 and scored twice.

Steph Vuono pitched the Vikings' sixth shutout of the season, allowing three hits to the Central Jersey champions.
Eastern, which will face Hunterdon Central for the state title, had six hits, including Madison Tiernan's two singles, two runs scored, and a stolen base.
South Jersey Non-Public A. Susan Wysocki and Phylicia Pellot each had a hit and drove in a run, but it was not enough to prevent Camden Catholic's 3-2 eight-inning loss to St. John Vianney in the final at Brick Township.
Camden Catholic managed just three hits against pitcher Katie Beriont, who benefitted from Vianney's two-run rally in the eighth to take its third straight title.
