South Jersey Boys to Watch

Oakcrest senior Fabian Santiago. He is the No. 2 seed in the 200 (21.97) and also a major threat in the 100, having run it in 10.54 seconds this season.

Woodbury junior Anthony Averett. Averett is just the fourth seed in the long jump (22 feet, 7 inches) but has a leap of 25-21/2 this season. He also is the No. 3 seed in the 100 (10.89).

Willingboro senior Isaac Williams. He is the No. 2 seed in the high jump (6-6) and will challenge in the 110 hurdles, with a state-best time of 13.76 this season.

Delsea junior Josh Awotunde. He's the No. 3 seed in the discus (172-6).

Bridgeton junior Braheme Days. Days is the top seed in the shot put (64-0) but has been battling a knee injury.

Kingsway senior Tom Cooke. He's the top seed in the 1,600 (4 minutes, 11.96 seconds).

Cherry Hill East senior Alex Reber. He's the fourth seed in the 400 (48.61).

Cherry Hill East senior Brian Regan. Regan is the fifth seed in the 100 (10.90).

Holy Cross sophomore Chris Mirabelli. He's the third seed in the javelin (192-2).

Haddon Heights junior Dominique Irons. Irons is the No. 3 seed (46-10) and defending champion in the triple jump.

Eastern senior Tom Carr. He is seeded sixth in the javelin (189-4).

South Jersey Girls to Watch

Cherokee senior Megan Lacy. She's the top seed in the 3,200 (10:24.61).

Shawnee senior Annie Johnson. She's the co-No. 1 seed in the 100 (12.02).

Winslow sophomore Cidae'a Woods. She's the No. 2 seed in the long jump (18-10).

Haddonfield senior Katie Johnston. She's the No. 1 seed in the javelin (152-9) and the No. 3 seed in the discus (131-8).

Haddonfield junior Emily Carson. Carson is the No. 5 seed in the long jump (18-4).

Cherokee junior Jess Woodard. She's the top seed in the shot put (46-2) and discus (141-10).

Washington Township senior Dina Iacone. She's the No. 2 seed in the 3,200 (10:32.64).

West Deptford senior Megan Kirschling. She's the top seed in the high jump (5-101/2).
