A knife-wielding juvenile and three accomplices robbed a delivery person from Nick's Pizza Thursday, and were captured by police as they were chowing down on the stolen food, according to Gloucester Township Police.

The incident began shortly before 9:30 p.m. as the pizza shop employee was attempting to make a delivery on Brookshire Road in the township's Sicklerville section. The employee said he was approached by the youth, who said they had ordered the food but could not pay for it. So, the employee left to make another delivery in the same complex.

As he was leaving, the youth flagged him down and said they now had the money to pay for their order. As the deliveryman exited his vehicle, one of the juveniles flashed the black handle of a weapon, which was believed to be a knife, police said. The deliveryman handed over the food, valued at about $60. The youth with the knife was described as a black male, 5'9”, 140 lbs., and wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.

The deliveryman then flagged down passing police on Jarvis Road. Officers converged in the area

and say they found the four juveniles eating the food.

They were taken into custody, charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, then transported to the

Camden County Youth Center at the Lakeland complex in Gloucester Township.
