A 21-year-old convicted drug dealer has been arrested in the April shooting death of a 20-year-old man in Southwest Philadelphia, police said.

Kenneth Williams, of the 6100 block of Yokum Street, Southwest Philadelphia, was ordered jailed without bail at his arraignment early Thursday on murder and related charges.

Police said Williams shot and killed Vondell Reavis near his home on the 5900 block of Greenway Avenue about 11:50 a.m. on April 14.

An argument, the nature of which was not disclosed, sparked the shooting, police said.

Court records show Williams has an arrest record as an adult dating back to 2008. In April, 2011, he was sentenced to four-years probation after pleading guilty to drug sale and possession charges.
