Neshaminy coach Mark Schmidt will be inducted into the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Saturday in Hershey.

In 18 seasons with the Redskins, Schmidt has compiled a 139-60 record (.698 winning percentage), claimed a PIAA Class AAAA state championship, earned two District 1 titles, and captured six Suburban One League National Conference crowns.

In 2001, Schmidt, the winningest coach in the program's history, guided the squad to a 15-0 record and top state honors.

Other area coaches recently enshrined into the PSFCA Hall of Fame include Interboro's Steve Lennox (2008), Cardinal O'Hara's George Stratts (2008), George Washington's Ron Cohen (2007), Strath Haven's Kevin Clancy (2007), and Mike Dominick (2007) of both Downingtown and Coatesville.
