Gloucester County GOP elects new leader
The Gloucester County Republican Party elected Larry Wallace as its chairman Wednesday to replace William Fey, who resigned last week.
Wallace, of Woolwich, is a member of the seven-member Board of Chosen Freeholders, which now has a Democratic majority. Party control of the board is at stake this year and Wallace said he will make it a priority to get more Republicans elected to it. In 2010, Wallace and Vincent Nestore became the first Republicans elected to the board in over a decade.
