Police have identified a suspected wanted in at least seven commercial burglaries, all but one in Center City, that netted him 20 laptop computers between May 12 and Jun. 2.
He is Darryl Simpson, 27, whose last known address was on the 4500 block of North 15th Street in the Logan section.
Police say he stole the laptops in break-ins at the following addresses on Market Street, 1300, 1500, 1650, 2005 and 3550.
There were three burglaries at different times at the building at 1300 Market and during one of them the thief dropped a bag with three laptops after he sounded an alarm and fled, police said.
