A Chester County woman was killed in a Friday morning accident on Route 202 that closed the road for about nine hours and injured another driver, according to West Whiteland Township police.
The crash occurred just before 1 a.m. in the southbound lane near Route 30 and involved a Volkswagen Passat and a box truck. Police were investigating reports the car may have been traveling north in the southbound lanes.
The driver of the truck, Richard Laub of Norristown, was treated at Paoli Hospital. The name of the driver of the Passat, a 25-year-old woman from Berwyn, was not released Friday pending notification of next of kin, police said. — Mari A. Schaefer
