DOVER, Del. - A bill authorizing online betting and adding venues for sports wagering and other gambling in Delaware is heading to a Senate vote.
The bill cleared a Senate committee Wednesday despite complaints from church leaders, who called it morally wrong. Delaware's harness racing industry also opposes the bill, saying its members would not get a fair share of the gambling proceeds. - AP
