A driver of a SEPTA bus and its passengers got quite a scare near Independence Mall this morning, when a man arguing with the driver pulled a knife, according to SEPTA.
Robert Moore, 32, of the 7300 block of North Granite Street, Melrose Park, was charged with aggravated assault and related offenses in bus-driver attack.
Two passengers came to the aid of the driver, and police were able to make an arrest, said SEPTA spokeswoman Jerri Williams.
The driver was not injured, she said.
The incident happened near Fourth and Market Streets, shortly before 10 a.m.
