EX-COP Keith Corley told a Philadelphia jury in March that the woman he gave a ride to while on duty last August wanted to have sex, so he obliged.

The woman, 32, testified that Corley, a four-year department veteran who was in uniform and driving a marked squad car, intimidated her and forced her to perform oral sex on him in Cobbs Creek Park.

The jury sided with both, acquitting Corley, 28, of rape, sexual assault and two related counts, but finding him guilty of indecent exposure and official oppression.

Common Pleas Judge Donna Woelpper sentenced Corley Thursday to three to six months in jail followed by three years of reporting probation. Corley was ordered to surrender to begin serving his sentence Friday.

Corley is among at least 43 Philadelphia police officers who have been arrested and charged with crimes since 2009. That's close to an average of one officer per month for the last 3 1/2 years. n
