Bucks chiropractor charged with indecent assault of patient, 70

The woman told detectives that Lieber knocked before entering the room, then proceeded to massage her. She said Lieber then asked her to turn over, and began to massage her neck. From there he proceeded down her torso, and worked his way to her outer genitals, where he remained for 15 to 20 seconds, according to a law enforcement affidavit.

At that point, the woman told him to stop, and Lieber apologized, the affidavit stated. The woman told investigators that Lieber had never touched her in a sexual manner before.

District Judge Michael J. Burns released Lieber on his own recognizance during an arraignment yesterday.

Lieber's attorney, Sara M. Webster, said her client has been cooperative with authorities and, "he is confident that when all the facts come to life that he'll be cleared of any wrongdoing."

"He's been a chiropractor of 17 years in Bucks County, and has an impeccable record," Webster said. "At the most, this is a misunderstanding. He never engaged in any unconsented contact, and never would he jeopardize his oath as a doctor, his standing in the community, or his own morality by putting someone else in an uncomfortable situation."
