The Sixers acquired the draft rights to Moultrie - the 27th overall pick - in exchange for the 45th pick in the draft (rights to Justin Hamilton) and a lottery-protected future first-round pick.
The summer league allows teams to see draft picks, undrafted free agents, and other NBA hopefuls compete in a full-court setting.
As for free agency, the Sixers, with limited cap room, have expressed interest in re-signing free agents Spencer Hawes and Lou Williams. If they exercise the amnesty clause on Elton Brand, a provision that would allow his more than $18 million salary to come off the books, the Sixers could be more active in free agency.
