Man fatally shot in Strawberry Mansion

A man was shot to death Friday afternoon in Strawberry Mansion, police said. Shots rang out around 4:20 p.m. on Corlies Street near Huntingdon Street. The victim was shot once in the chest, twice in the right underarm, and once in the left underarm, police said. Officers from the 22d District took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 4:35, Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
