Posted: July 07, 2012

The Union will host Toronto FC at PPL Park in Chester on Sunday at 4 p.m. after having picked up a big 2-1 win Wednesday over the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Michael Farfan scored in second-half stoppage time to give the Union their first road victory in nearly three months, at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

It was the Union's first victory over the Galaxy in club history. The victory was also the first for the Union (4-9-2) on the road since April 21, when they defeated Chivas USA at the Home Depot Center.

Jack McInerney put the Union ahead with seconds remaining in the first half by scoring his fourth goal in four league games and in the U.S. Open Cup. Los Angeles (6-10-2) tied the score in the 73d minute, as Chad Barrett slid to convert from 2 yards.
