Blizzard co-hosting with Kelly?
Runnemede, N.J., comedienne and former radio host Dena Blizzard is one of the 25 finalists in the "Live! with Kelly" Coast to Coast Co-Host search to co-host the ABC show for a day with South Jersey native Kelly Ripa.
Fans have been voting online at livewithkelly.tv and the top 10 finalists will be announced on Monday's show.
Speaking of "Live! with Kelly," Rydal, Pa.'s Marissa and Jeff Silverman will be part of Date Night Makeover Week and seen on Thursday's episode. The couple have been married 17 years. Their makeovers, by fashion guru Lawrence Zarian, will be unveiled during the show which airs at 9 a.m. on ABC.
Ripa's co-host is "SNL" head writer/Weekend Update anchor Seth Meyers.
Numerous online sources say Meyers is the favorite to land the permanent gig as co-host.
New news boss at NBC10
Anzio Williams has been named news director of NBC10, replacing Chris Blackman, who left the station last month after 10 years in the job. Williams recently worked at KCRA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Sacramento, Calif., and before that worked in New Orleans; Orlando, Fla.; and Miami, among other cities.
Charitably minded
Nick McIlwain, of 93.3 WMMR's Preston & Steve Show, hosts a Celebrity Bartending Night from 6 to 9 p.m. July 12 at Xfinity Live to raise money for his Mount Kilimanjaro Climb for a Cure.
Later this summer, McIlwain will attempt to climb the mountain in Tanzania, Africa, to raise money for Sanfilippo Syndrome, a rare and deadly genetic disease affecting children.
There will be $2 Miller Lites, $3 Summer Shandy and $3 cocktails.
