Camden man is victim in fatal shooting

A fatal shooting near Seventh and Vine Streets in Camden on Thursday claimed the life of a 32-year-old man identified by officials as Luis Gonzalez of Camden. Gonzalez was shot multiple times and died at 2:30 p.m. after surgery at Cooper University Hospital, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Another man suffered a graze wound in the shooting. The slaying followed a shooting Wednesday at 23d and High Streets. Officials named the victim in that shooting as Kareem Pratt, 23, also of Camden.
