A man walked down a South Jersey street in daylight, stripped, and fondled himself in front of a mother and her daughter, according to police.
Gloucester Township police say John Boyle Jr., 44, was charged with lewdness and taken to the Camden County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
The incident began about 2:20 p.m. Thursday when police say Boyle was walking down Oak Avenue in the township's Hilltop section when he removed his shirt and pants.
They say that Boyle, who lives on the Black Horse Pike in Hilltop, exposed himself and masturbated in front of a mother and her 15-year-old daughter as they were entering a vehicle. Police also say a young boy was nearby and could have also possibly witnessed the incident.
Boyle then put his clothes back on and began walking down Oak Avenue towards Lower Landing Road, police say.
