A 76-year-old Burlington County woman who walks with a cane has been charged with killing her 79-year-old husband in their Browns Mills home with a .357 Magnum handgun.
Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi said Fredricka Rosa, of the 100 block of Margaret Street, was charged with one count of murder in the shooting of Valpa C. Rosa Sr., who was shot in the head and neck.
Pemberton Township police were called to the couple's home at 8:45 a.m. Saturday by one of the Rosas' children, who lives out of state but who received a call from Fredricka Rosa, the Prosecutor's Office said Sunday in a statement.
