MISSED THE BOAT on the free job-training programs announced this month by the Community College of Philadelphia? That's OK — school officials suggest these other ways to explore career training:

Visit http://ph.ly/Ij47H for a complete course listing and learn about popular programs such as those for nurse aide, pharmacy technician and professional coaching. Free course listings are available at the main campus on Spring Garden Street and at the Northeast, Northwest and West Philadelphia regional centers.

Drop by the Welcome Center in the Pavilion on 17th Street between Spring Garden and Callowhill streets. Summer hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday. Staff members are available to answer questions.

Free weekly campus-information tours begin at the Welcome Center at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesdays. Groups of six or more can schedule a custom tour by emailing admissions@ccp.edu.

Free interactive webcasts can answer many questions about admission, registration and financial aid. Visit http://ph.ly/TLaKR.
