Nelson H. Wollman, 86, a Philadelphia lawyer, died Saturday, July 21, following a stroke at the Quadrangle, the retirement community in Haverford where he had lived since moving from Center City in the mid-2000s.
Mr. Wollman was a founder in 1950 of the law firm that became Wollman & Tracey, where he practiced until he moved to the Quadrangle, his daughter Jane Rondepierre said in an interview.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Wollman graduated from Central High School in 1943, earned a bachelor's degree at Pennsylvania State University, and graduated from the law school of Dickinson College.
He served briefly in the Army.
