A person was killed in a fiery collision between a car and a tractor-trailer Wednesday night in Gloucester County, authorities said.
The accident occurred about 8:35 p.m. at Main and Weymouth Roads in Franklin Township. Initial reports indicated that several people were trapped in the car and that fire crews could not reach them due to downed electrical lines.
A dispatcher confirmed one fatality and said there were no reports of other injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
