HOURS AFTER the announcement Wednesday that one Philly cop had been indicted, a second one was charged over a run-in with Atlantic City police.

Officer Aisha Pleasant was indicted by the Atlantic County prosecutor in an incident unrelated to the one in which Officer Rafael Cordero was charged earlier Wednesday.

Pleasant, 36, a three-year cop assigned to the 9th District in Center City, was charged with resisting arrest and aggravated assault on police in connection with an incident that happened in Atlantic City in March, police said.

Neither the Philadelphia Police Department nor the prosecutor's office would provide details of the March 4 incident that led to the charges.

Pleasant is the 47th Philly cop to be charged with a crime since 2009.

Police said Pleasant would be suspended for 30 days with intent to dismiss.

Earlier Wednesday, the Police Department announced the federal indictment of Cordero, a 23-year veteran, on charges of obstruction of justice and making false statements for allegedly tipping off a relative to a drug investigation.
