Rady's other credits include a recurring role on "The Mentalist" last year and playing the love interest of Alexis Bledel in both "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" movies.
Miley still fake baking
Miley Cyrus still seems pretty pale to us, despite tanning almost daily at Hollywood Tans (1107 Walnut), where she stopped early Wednesday afternoon. Fans of the singer/actress, who is here with fiancé Liam Hemsworth as he shoots "Paranoia," have begun hanging outside the salon waiting for her to show up. According to London's Daily Mail, Hemsworth wants Cyrus to go back to Los Angeles, as he just wants to relax after shooting and Cyrus wants to get out and about.
Zach, Will get grub on
About 20 sandwiches from Tony Luke's (Front & Oregon) — cheesesteaks, roast pork, chicken Italiano and veggie hoagies — awaited Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis when they arrived Tuesday at CBS 3 to promote "The Campaign."
While at the station, Galifianakis helped meteorologist Katie Fehlinger do the weather (video at PhillyGossip.com) before the guys were interviewed. The actors took the leftovers along with them to their next "Campaign" stop in Washington, D.C.
The CBS visit followed a public event at the National Constitution Center, which also featured Flyers Zac Rinaldo, Matt Read and Sean Couturier, as well as Eagles Jason Kelce, Mike Patterson and Todd Herremans.
Atlantic City activity
Tightrope walker Nik Wallenda, who recently crossed Niagara Falls in a much-hyped, made-for-TV event, will walk 1,500 feet along the beach at Atlantic City's Sovereign Avenue at 3 p.m. Aug. 9. He'll end up just in front of the Tropicana's Italian restaurant, Carmine's, even though there are certainly easier ways to get in.
Don Marrandino, Caesars eastern division president, dined Tuesday with Donny Osmond at Caesars Atlantic City's Atlantic Grill. Osmond went for the pretzel-crusted flounder and told his server it was the first time he had ever tried that type of fish. Osmond, who performs at the hotel through Sunday with sister Marie Osmond, posed for photos with a few other people dining at the restaurant before heading to the concert at Circus Maximus theater.
Paula Deen, husband Michael Groover and eight others dined at Morton's a few nights back while in town for the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival. Deen went for onion soup, Caesar salad and crab legs and shared a bone-in rib eye with Groover.
TLC's "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro went for a mixed-grill platter, and the Travel Channel's "Bizarre Foods" host, Andrew Zimmern, had a New York strip steak during separate weekend stops at Morton's.
