Police are investigating the early morning murder of a 46-year-old woman shot to death in a Nicetown Alley.
Around 2 a.m., police found the woman - who's name police have yet to release - shot once in the back of the head in a narrow alley on the 4200 block of Wayne Avenue, near Brunner Street, police said.
Investigators did not release a motive or suspect information Saturday morning.
Neighbors have described the woman as having nine children.
