New Jersey had three of the 21 tickets that won $1 million each for matching the first five. A Florida ticket won $2 million by matching five while having the Power Play multiplier option.
New Hampshire also sold three $1 million winners, while Georgia and Illinois had two apiece. With one such winner each were Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma and Oregon.
Mega Millions. The other major multistate lottery also rolled over, when nobody matched all the numbers drawn Tuesday night: 30, 32, 33, 42 and 48, with a Mega Ball of 7.
Only one ticket, sold in Tennessee, got close, winning $250,000 for matching the first five.
The jackpot for Friday's drawing rose to $29 million for the annuity, $22 million for the cash.
Mega Millions and Powerball are each played in more than 40 states, including Pennsylvania and Delaware.
