Jeffrey Lurie will own the majority stake in the Eagles and will retain complete control over the team following his divorce settlement, according to an NFL Network report Saturday.

Christina Lurie will own a "small, nonvoting share" of the team, the report said, similar to the portions owned by Eagles minority owners Mike Michelson and Richard Green. Lurie is the only owner with a voting stock over the team, the NFL Network, citing league sources, reported.

The Eagles have not responded to a request for comment.

There was a report in Thursday's New York Post that Jeffrey Lurie would give "a sizable chunk" of the Eagles to his ex-wife in the settlement, but that is not the case, the source said.

The Luries announced their divorce after 20 years of marriage on July 4. In an e-mail sent to Eagles employees, they stated that the split would have no effect on the team's operations and that they "would remain close friends" and "continue to work together as partners."

"There is no doubt who will own or control the Eagles going forward, and that is Jeffrey," an senior NFL official said in an e-mail to NFL Network. "Jeffrey is only 60 and will remain in control for decades. In fact, we think the Eagles will be in the Lurie family for generations because Jeffrey has been very thoughtful in how he has structured his affairs."

Lurie bought the Eagles in 1994 for $195 million. Forbes magazine estimated its worth at $1.1 billion in 2011.
