Chicago rookie defender Austin Berry has three goals and leads all defenders in scoring. Marco Pappa has a team-high six goals. He now has 26 goals as a member of the Fire, which is tied for fourth on the team's all-time list with former Union team manager Peter Nowak. . . . Chicago entered the weekend in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. The top five teams in each conference will earn a playoff spot.
About the Union: Forward Jack McInerney (four goals) will miss the game after receiving a red card in last week's 2-0 loss at Montreal. . . . Antoine Hoppenot, who suffered a broken nose in the loss to Montreal, is expected to be available, according to Hackworth. . . . The Union have won four consecutive games at PPL Park. In these four games, the Union has outscored their opponents, 11-2. . . . Defender Carlos Valdes and midfielders Gabriel Gomez and Keon Daniel all have games next week with their national teams and Hackworth wasn't sure what their availability would be for Sunday.
