Contracts let to widen Garden State Parkway

Four construction firms have been awarded contracts to widen lanes on a stretch of the Garden State Parkway starting in October. The New Jersey Turnpike Authority approved the contracts, totaling $330 million, on Tuesday.

The firms will widen lanes and restore shoulders between Wall and Toms River. - AP
