LA SALLE'S men's basketball team will open its season against Delaware on Nov. 10 at Tom Gola Arena.
La Salle's first-ever basketball opponent was Delaware on Dec. 12, 1931.
The Explorers, coming off a 21-win season and an NIT appearance, also will begin a series with Penn State. The Nittany Lions will play La Salle at the Palestra on Dec. 5.
Villanova will visit Gola Arena on Nov. 25. La Salle will host Central Connecticut State on Nov. 18 and will visit Hartford on Nov. 20. La Salle will visit Rider on Nov. 29, and will play road games at Northeastern (Dec. 8) and Bucknell (Dec. 15) and Siena (Dec. 29). Nonconference home games in December include Iona (Dec. 20) and Sacred Heart (Dec. 22).
