10. Amie's Dini . . . David Cohen. . . 8-1
Contested got very tired when she was pushed to the rail in the Mother Goose. Now, she gets an outside post and has been working very fast at Del Mar. No reason to think she won't find her best form again. Book Review has been brilliant since she came back in May, her lone loss to Questing, the country's best 3-year-old filly. Amie's Dini has run only one poor race in 2012 and, coming off five consecutive route races, the 7 furlongs may be the perfect distance.

9. Trinniberg . . . Willie Martinez. . . 7-2
10. Doctor Chit . . . Ramon Dominguez. . . 5-1
Currency Swap has raced three times at Saratoga and has won them all, including the Hopeful and Amsterdam. He can sit off what looks like a very hot pace and roll to the wire. Doctor Chit is crazy fast early and might impact the speed of Trinniberg. If there is a duel, Currency Swap may get first run on the closers and go 4-for-4 at the Spa.

11. Fast Falcon . . . Junior Alvarado. . . 20-1
Nonios was not given a very smart ride when second to Paynter in the Haskell. The rider went too soon and rode along a rail that was inhibiting horses all day. If the colt has the kind of move he showed on the turn at Monmouth Park, he can run right by this bunch. Getting Johnny V. to ride seems like the perfect match. Neck 'n Neck had to chase a lone speed in a paceless race in the Jim Dandy. If he gets a bit of pace in front, he may finish as he did in Kentucky. Alpha is a logical favorite, but the colt never will have an easier trip than he did in the Jim Dandy. There is not much early speed in here, so it is possible he could get easy fractions up top again, but Speightscity, starting from the rail, may very well be sent, so that could change the pace scenario.
