A Bryn Mawr woman reported Saturday that a man, naked from the waist down, broke into her apartment and attempted to rape her, Radnor police said.
Officers were called to the Radwyn Apartments on Landover Road about 3:30 a.m. The woman told police she was up late when she heard knocking at her bedroom door. Thinking it was her roommate, she opened it, police said.
A man, who she described as black and wearing only a gray t-shirt, burst through the door and knocked her down. As the man tried to sexually assault her, the woman struggled and screamed. After a few minutes the man fled. He ran unclothed and unshod toward the Bryn Mawr Wawa, police said.
