Police: Body in field was Ambler woman

Posted: August 31, 2012

Montgomery County authorities today said the body found in a Hanover Township cornfield on Wednesday was that of 26-year-old Natalie Marella of Ambler.

In a statement, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman and New Hanover Township Police Chief Kevin McKeon said the coroner had not yet ruled on Marella's cause and manner of death, pending toxicology test results.

Her body was found in the field by a local farmer, about 20 miles from her home. Public records suggest Marella also had lived in Doylestown.
