A man fell from SEPTA's Broad Street line near the Fern Rock station and was critically injured Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. when the man was trying to move between train cars and fell, authorities said. He was transported to Einstein Medical Center.
Broad Street service was halted in the area, and SEPTA provided shuttle buses between the Erie Avenue and Fern Rock stations, an agency spokeswoman said. Service had been restored by 4:35. - Robert Moran
