Nick Arcidiacono

Archbishop Wood, Sr., TE/DE, 6-4, 238

What he has done. Last season, playing mostly guard and tackle on offense, Arcidiacono used toughness and solid blocking to help the Vikings average nearly 47 points. He was a second-team all-Catholic League Class AAA selection. This year, Arcidiacono switches to tight end, the position he is projected to play at Rutgers. He is the fourth in his family to land a Division I-A football scholarship, joining father Mark (Father Judge, Temple) and brothers Mark (St. Joseph's Prep, Penn State) and Brandon (Wood, Rutgers).

What he says. "I played a little bit at tight end last season, and I've been working on my technique. I feel like I'm prepared for it."

What his coach says. "He's a good athlete,

has a high motor, and he's a real force coming off the edge."
