In an effort to promote a state-owned employment website, energy company PSEG announced Friday that it currently has 150 positions posted on Jobs4Jersey.com.
PSEG, whose subsidiaries include the utility Public Service Electric and Gas Co., has an "ongoing need for people with a good grounding in science, technology, engineering and math," said Ralph Izzo, the chief executive.
The company currently is engaged in several large transmission-line expansion projects.
The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development last year launched an online tool called OnRamp at its Jobs4Jersey website to connect prospective employers with workers.
