Authorities are trying to identify the man who robbed a Bucks County bank Friday afternoon.

The man entered the First Niagara Bank branch at 209 N. Main St. in Sellersville at 4:47 p.m. and showed a note to a teller saying he had a gun, the FBI said. He took an undisclosed amount and was last seen walking south on Main Street.

He was described as white, in his 50s, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 230 pounds, balding, wearing black eyeglasses, dark shorts, and a T-shirt with the Italian flag on the back and the words Beef and Ale on the front. Though he did not display a gun, the FBI said he should be regarded as armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the man can call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Perkasie Police Department at 215-257-6876. - Robert Moran
