Sideshow: Jackson, too, is said to be deserting 'Idol'

Almost everyone's gone: Simon Cowell, Steven Tyler, and Jennifer Lopez have left American Idol.

And according to the New York Post and TMZ, Randy Jackson is off the judges' table. The Post says Jackson is peeved at producers' decision to shrink his role to that of musical mentor. As of Friday, Idol's on-camera staff consists of a paltry two, Ryan Seacrest and newbie Mariah Carey.


Heidi Klum's guardlove

Heidi Klum, 39, whose glorious übermodelhood keeps us going, has found her post- Seal bounceback beau. Multiple Sources (ooh) tell In Touch Weekly that Klum has been making muzak with her bodyguard Martin Kirsten, 39, for months. Says one insider, "She's so happy and feels so safe around him." ( Seriously?)
