A man was shot and killed this morning on a street in South Philadelphia, police said.
The man, said to be about 24-years-old, was shot once in the head about 5:45 a.m. at 12th and Bainbridge Streets in the Hawthorne neighborhood.
Medics pronounced him dead at the scene at 5:52 a.m.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting are not clear yet and there is no word on a possible motive.
