Whitemarsh Township police have released composite drawings of two people sought in the shooting of a man during an apparent ambush in Lafayette Hill on Aug. 21.

According to police, the 32-year-old victim met a woman in the Germantown section of Philadelphia and took her to his home on the 4100 block of Joshua Road.

After getting out of the car around 9:30 p.m., the man was shot twice when he was confronted by two men during an apparent robbery attempt, police said.

The woman who was with the victim then fled with two assailants in a car, police said.

The victim is recovering from his wounds, police said.

Police said the woman is black with a light complexion; about 19 years old; skinny; 5-feet, 9-inches tall; with brown eyes and dimples. She was wearing a white Muslim headscarf and blue jeans ripped at knees.

The male suspect depicted in the drawing is black, about 30 years old; stocky build; 5-feet, 6-inches, to 5-feet, 7-inches tall; with brown eyes, several day's growth of facial hair and a tattoo on his upper right arm. He was wearing a white tank top and fatigue shorts.

The second male suspect is described only as black; about 25 years old; 5-feet, 9-inches tall; with a medium build. He was wearing a white shirt and was armed with a silver handgun.
