A Cherry Hill man was fatally injured Friday morning when he was hit by a car while crossing Route 70.
The victim, whose name was not released and was in his 70s, had gotten off a bus and was walking across Route 70 near Kings Highway about 8 a.m., police said. The driver stayed at the scene and was not charged, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at Cooper University Hospital. - Rita Giordano
