Radio: WPEN-AM (950).

Coaches: Fordham, Joe Moorhead (first season, 1-0); Villanova, Andy Talley (28th season, 190-117-1).

Series: Villanova leads, 19-4-3. The Wildcats have won 12 in a row, including a 24-10 win in their last meeting, on Dec. 7, 2002.

Three Things to Watch

The Wildcats came out of the Temple game healthy and will look for a ball-control game in order to keep the Fordham offense off the field.

'Nova outgained Temple on the ground in last week's 41-10 defeat, 365 yards to 362.

Fordham uses an up-tempo, no-huddle attack and will use two quarterbacks, senior Ryan Higgins and sophomore Michael Nebrich.

Three Things You Might Not Know

Villanova put up 212 rushing yards last week, its highest total in a season opener since gaining 235 yards against Hampton in 2003.

Fordham's Patrick Murray kicked a school-record 52-yard field goal in the Rams' 55-0 win over Division II Lock Haven.

The Rams allowed just 34 yards rushing and 126 yards of total offense against Lock Haven. - Marc Narducci
