A Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged with producing child pornography. Steven Mazer, 25, a karate instructor in the city's Bustleton section, was taken into custody Friday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. He appeared Monday in federal District Court and was jailed pending trial.
An ICE spokesman said the investigation was part of Operation Predator, a nationwide initiative to protect children from sexual abuse. Investigators asked anyone with information to call ICE agents at 215-717-4987. - Michael Matza
