A Philadelphia man pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to illegally selling prescription drugs he obtained through Kermit Gosnell, the abortion doctor charged with murder.
Corey Lambert, 41, obtained nearly 1,000 prescriptions from Gosnell for drugs such as OxyContin, Tussionex, alprazolam, and promethazine with codeine, prosecutors said. The prescriptions were filled out to approximately 52 names. Lambert is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 7.
Gosnell is charged with selling nearly one million prescription pills. He is in prison without bail awaiting trial in Common Pleas Court on charges of murder and other crimes related to his former West Philadelphia abortion clinic. - Robert Moran
