Temple coach Steve Addazio thinks the Owls can build on their second-half effort against Maryland.
The Terrapins held a commanding 26-3 lead before escaping with a 36-27 victory on Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field.
"To be in that game, to have it 29-27 with seven minutes left to play - come on," Addazio said Monday during a teleconference. "We gave up 16 points in four minutes before the half. So I think that showed something."
Nation's best. Temple middle linebacker Nate D. Smith leads the Football Bowl Subdivision with three forced fumbles in two games. The redshirt freshman also ranked fourth in the FBS in solo tackles (8.5 per game).
