* Iron Hill North Wales (1460 Bethlehem Pike, 267-708-2000, ironhillbrewery.com) will host a "Give 19" event for the release of Iron Hill's Grand Inquisitor bottled reserve with the Flyers' Scott Hartnell to benefit his #HartnellDown Foundation from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. The "Give 19" event is a spin on Iron Hill's "Give 20" fundraisers in which 20 percent of proceeds from participating food sales go toward a nonprofit or charity. "Give 19" references Harnell's jersey, and 19 percent of proceeds will be donated.
* The 16th Annual Cape May Food & Wine Celebration, Saturday through Sept. 23, offers some tasty persuasions for a fall Shore trip. New this year: Chef Joseph Poon demonstrates his high-energy food carving and gives tips on healthy eating; a classic fall-afternoon Cape May Clambake at Hawk Haven Vineyard with live music, plus a Harvest Food & Wine Dinner, lectures, Chefs' Dine-Arounds and much more. * Beginning Sunday at sunset through Tuesday, London Grill (2301 Fairmount Ave., 215-978-4545, londongrill.com) will offer a three-course, $28 prix fixe Rosh Hashanah menu featuring Matzoh Ball Soup, Brisket, Horseradish-Crusted Salmon, Brick Chicken and family-style sides. Ages 11 and under dine for $14. Reservations encouraged.
* Open-air German biergarten Frankford Hall (1210 Frankford Ave., 215-634-3338, frankfordhall.com) celebrates Octoberfest from Saturday through Sept. 30, starting with weekend pig roasts Saturday and Sunday from noon to closing.
